It is not enough to be busy. So are the ants. The question is; What are we busy about? ~ Henry David Thoreau
I took that standing ant with my Sony pocket camera when I was spending my lazy noon at the beach last sunday. Yes it looked so sexy. And looked like it was guiding its colony, because there were some ants followed it. And at the very back, a groups of ant were busy to lift a food.
By seeing this scenary, I got some lesson. Don’t ever be busy for a futile thing. Because even ants can do great thing by working together.
Frankly I’m fed up with the behavior of most people araound me nowadays. When the political world is busy because the moment of presidential election, the fanatical supporters suddenly become the world’s most inteligent people. Talking about unimportant facts such “my candidate is good looking and yours are not” or “my candidate has wife and yours are single”. Then they’ll insulting each other and do excessive defense.
The more annoying thing are the role of media, wether television, papers, or online media. Most of them are not independent. So the content was not much different, talking about a goodness of one candidate who pay them, and open all the badness of other candidate. Or even there were black campign in a newspaper, ever found a death announcement of one presidential candidate. Oh my!
I guess they forgot to ask to themself… what am I busy about? What’s in it? Whereas, perhaps around us there are many poor and starving people, or children watching porn, while we are too busy of nothing!
